04-08 Acura TSX Engine Under Tray
The OEM plastic splash shield offers no protection from the elements or road debris and essentially is a gaping hole below the engine. Many newer cars has a plastic panel that covers this whole area which at least offers water and dirt protection. The 04-08 Acura TSX (CL9) has almost nothing to help protect you under the car. The TBW under tray has been developed to remedy and fix this problem. This will affix to the front bumper, and will go back behind the engine so you have a barrier to damage between the road and the oil pan. Designed to take handle typical street use, however if you decide you want to go for a rally version offering added thickness for more regular abuse, let us know and we can customize something for you.
A door for quick oil changes has been built into this for your convenience. It will drain here very easy through the access panel, however the filter does have limited access through the panel and may require going through the fender area.
Installation is relatively simple but does require a rivet nut tool for installation. We will provide the hardware, including rivet nuts, extruded u-nuts bolts and spacers.

Engine Under Tray
Since this version of the Acura is quite a few years old there are usually parts that are warped or damaged. My previous plastic under tray was warped to the point of no return. Now with my car being lowered it would also scrape on uneven surfaces. This aluminum tray is solid and easy to install just with some ramps. Immediately the car drove smoother as it accelerated and no longer was the under tray scraping. TBW even sent me some U-nuts that were missing later on that didn't come with the original package. I would say this upgrade is a must for this vehicle. Only thing I would say at least in my case is that I had to get a slightly longer M6 bolt than the longest one provided. I ended up buying a M6x33 mm or about 1-3/8" long that had a flat top instead of pointed.
