Honda Civic Engine Under Tray Skid Plate
8th Gen (2006-2011)
The OEM undercarriage is made entirely of plastic. We have designed a skid plate/under tray to cover up the bottom of the engine to increase protection for your motor. This design is vented for airflow improvement and optimal cooling. By having this on, you will improve airflow both through the radiator and the aerodynamics under the vehicle.
DOES NOT USE THE OEM PLASTIC.
Installation is simple and will use the new provided hardware. Hardware consists of new plastic push clips, bolts and speed nuts. Because HONDA did not use a lot of threaded holes, we are going to be using some self-tapping bolts to secure this to the frame. Installation will require a rivet nut tool. We have a cheap one available if you do not have one. If you are unfamiliar with rivet nuts, it may be best for you to have this professionally installed.
