This aluminum skid plate/splash guard is a direct fit for your Subaru STI. It replaces the OEM plastic splash guard panel which offers little protection and generally has many problems. It offers built-in trap doors for both oil drain plug and oil filter. Unlike many splash shields and skid plates on the market, this also offers ventilation as well as complete side brackets for additional support. It comes with new hardware - especially important as this goes ALL THE WAY to your front bumper and doesn't stop at the radiator support - it will replace the stock push clips with speed nuts and bolts. This will give your STI support on the front bumper while maintaining optimal air channeling under the vehicle with this aluminum splash shield. Test off road in mud and various applications - this skid plate will keep your engine bay clean and protect your vital components.

Installation Hardware is Included with each aluminum splash shield - It will replace the plastic clips on the bumper with a more permanent solution using bolts and speed nuts

Great product and even better service
Needless to say the product is made to the very high standard, love it, but what was even better was the service, i didn't get the option to ship to Mexico and i contact the TBW team and they adjust their website so i was able to order and get it on my home, over all great product really happy with it and as i said before even grater service from TBW

Great kit
The kit is amazing it looks so good and the best part in my opinion is that it has the cut outs for the oil filter and drain plug. Pretty simple to install, the instructions aren't the best but it's easy to figure out, my only suggestion would be to include an extra set of washers for the ground wires i don't know how good the OEM bolts will stay in with how big the bolt hole is.

Good overall, oil changes are still a challenge
Overall I am happy with this purchase. It was super easy to install and I no longer have to deal with that lame plastic under tray that comes stock. I just did my first oil change with this on, and the two openings do allow access to the oil drain bolt and the oil filter. Unfortunately once the oil started to "drip/drizzle" out of the bolt hole, it dripped onto the top side of the tray and not out of the hatch. This could easily be prevented if the hatch was a bit bigger to account for this. Overall I would recommend this purchase as it does offer more protection for the underside of your engine than the stock plastic nonsense, but it does come with its own tradeoffs.

Nice product overall, would recommend
Installed this on my '17 STI. The sole purpose of buying this was so that I would no longer need to remove the plastic cover to change my oil. In that, this product works great. with 3x 10 mm bolts removed, I have access to the oil parts. Install is pretty straight forward. It did not come with directions and the install guide does not have great photos. It's pretty easy though. The side brackets bolt to the frame where the grounding wires attach. From there, the main piece bolt in the same spots the plastic guard did. The front panel is advertised to reinforce the front bumper. On my car, it already had a reinforcement piece, so it really seams like this front part isn't necessary. The online instructions say to take the factory push nuts out of the bumper and install j-nuts and bolts. After reviewing the hardware that was sent and looking at the set up, I found it way simpler to re-install push clips to retain the front bumper holes and install j-nuts on the sides where the two panels meet. This made things much simpler, feel secure, and allows for very fast take down if I need engine access from below. I do wish it was available in flat black instead of gloss, but that's not really a big deal.

15 STI underatray
Great product easy to install. Main reason for getting it I was tired of dropping the OEM plastic tray to change my oil. Now this thing will outlast the OEM tray. Overall I'm really happy with the tray!
