2011-2014 Subaru WRX / STI Aluminum Engine Under Tray Skid Plate
This aluminum skid plate/splash guard is a direct fit for your Subaru WRX or STI. It replaces the OEM plastic splash guard panel which offers little protection and generally has many problems. It offers built-in trap doors for both oil drain plug and oil filter. Unlike many splash shields and skid plates on the market, this also offers ventilation as well as complete side brackets for additional support. It comes with new hardware - especially important as this goes ALL THE WAY to your front bumper and doesn't stop at the radiator support - it will replace the stock push clips with speed nuts and bolts. This will give your WRX or STI support on the front bumper while maintaining optimal air channeling under the vehicle with this aluminum splash shield. Test off road in mud and various applications - this skid plate will keep your engine bay clean and protect your vital components.

Installation Hardware is Included with each aluminum splash shield - It will replace the plastic clips on the bumper with a more permanent solution using bolts and speed nuts

Easy install and good quality
Bought my 14 wrx used and the factory plastic under tray was missing. That’s no good since I put on a lot of highway miles and petty much everything I do on the weekends requires driving on forest roads, two lane tracks and deep snow. So for about the same price as the plastic I gave this a shot. seems like a good product, it will fix the under car aero, reinforce the bumper in deep snow, and keep rocks from poking holes in the oil pan.

Great Product and Customer Service
UPS screwed the pooch and lost the first plate, I called expecting a hassle but was greeted with great customer service asking to give it another couple days since it was a holiday weekend. UPS had really lost it so I never got the first one. TBW then shipped the 2nd one to me free of charge and hassle. Now that its here it is a perfect addition to my car to prevent cones from hitting things under the factory tray. 5 out of 5 would use again. GREAT customer service and product.

Quality Product
I bought this for a 2011 WRX. It bolted right on to the existing holes for the stock splash guard with no problems or hassle. It also made my front end nice and tight. It definitely beats having the original flimsy stock guard and you don't have to take this off to access the oil drain and oil filter which is a plus too.

Skid Plate
I was really happy with the product. Only thing was there was not installation instructions. But since its just a skid plate its not hard to figure out if you are somewhat mechanically incline.

Very pleased
I purchased this plate on a whim, and am very pleased with the results. Doesn't seem much heavier/lighter than OEM. No need for drilling. No instructions were included but it is very simple to install. The only drawback with this piece in my opinion is that there is no contour to mount on the rear bolt (crossmember area), I ended up bending mine a little bit torquing the bolts down -- not a big deal and it seems like it helps with fitment anyways. Another "bonus": I installed an Ebay lip at the same time and the bolts that secure this plate to the bumper actually hold the lip on the car without having to drill any additional holes in the bumper.

Awesome Piece
Would of given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the raw edges of the skid plate ( cut myself when unpacking the product.. wasn't expecting sharp edges) but fitment is great.. reinforced my front bumper beyond imagination.. Great Buy for those looking to adding extra protection and stability to the car..
