2002-2003 Subaru WRX / STI Aluminum Under Tray Skid Plate

*Small variations exist between models, please select your vehicle.  Please identify which side your oil pan drains.  Most vehicles will drain on the drivers side, however there are a few that will drain from the passenger side.  We have separate versions of the aluminum under tray for each, just make sure to notify us which side it drains when ordering. *

Protecting your engine is very important, and the OEM splash shield doesn't do much.  This aluminum engine shield is a direct fit for the 2002-2003  Subaru WRX .  Not only will it protect better than the plastic splash guard, it will strengthen your bumper and make your vehicle easier to work on.

FITS:
2002-2003 WRX sedan
2002-2003 WRX wagon

Imagine not having to take the entire under tray off each time you change your oil!  The built in oil trap door on this aluminum splash shield will make changing the oil a quick and clean process for your SUBIE.  Sleek, stylish, keeping the engine clean and offering much better protection, all while weighing only a single pound over the stock plastic under tray.  Don't hesitate to add this to your mod list, as it will be one of the best value purchases you can make for your WRX or STI.

Protect your engine with only the best!  Made from high quality strong and durable aluminum. All holes are laser cut to direct fit in the stock location.  This version is designed to accommodate aftermarket headers, larger oil pans, spacers, and even some lower front tie braces.  Installation is quick and requires little working knowledge.  Most people can do it on there own with a floor jack, jack stands, and 10mm/12mm wrenches. New Installation hardware is included with this skid plate.

  • MADE OF .063 (1/16") ALUMINUM - only slightly heavier than stock (by ~ 1 lb) but hard aluminum resistant to denting and splitting

  • LASER CUT - Precise cuts to fit stock mounting points * CLEARANCE - Clearance as good as OEM or better, but stronger which improves airflow

  • RIGIDITY - Offers better protection while strengthening bumper support for better stability at high speeds

  • 3 PIECE DESIGN - Won't bend the whole thing if you hit a curb, and can replace only the front piece. Easier to work on your engine.

  • OIL DOOR - The OEM shroud offers little access to the filter. This built in oil door is accessible by removing 2 simple bolts.

  • VENTED DESIGN - Helps to aid with air flow and heat removal

  • POWDER COATED OPTION - OPTIONAL powder coated finishes available for extra durability and style.

Fits:
2002-2003 Subaru WRX

I was never a fan of the plastic undergaurd on ANY car, so when i saw this had to try it and it was well worth the money, so much i bought it for the g/f (05 G35x) and the moms (03 honda civc)car. 02Wrx - This came with solid mounting hardware and fit perfectly. The plate its self is very strong, light weight, dose not bend under hard constant turning, helps you spot leaks you might not see, great for winter driven cars and helps keep the driveway or garage clean and for the oil changes everything lined up for me

    Good solid skid plate.

Had to replace my stock splash guard on 02 WRX after I realized it was missing. This came with solid mounting hardware and fit perfectly. There are two holes on the front section that don't match up to hold in the bumper but you can get away without using them or just drill two small holes in the bumper cover. I went without them for now, it is holding up really well. I haven't had to change my oil yet but it looks like the hatches are well aligned for that.
